How to get brassy/copper tones out of hair?

I recently dyed my hair blonde from being a natural brunette. I want to be a medium natural blonde, but I keep getting copper tones in my hair. Is there any kind of shampoo that can help get these tones out?

It is better to go for an ash blonde as this will help neutralise the copper tones. Also, keep it in great colour condition by using Matrix SO Silver shampoo.
